2 More Tips for Posting on LinkedIn

Since I published an article on what I learned about posting on LinkedIn 2 years ago, I’ve learned more. Read this along with the original article. Here’s the updates:

Curate content. Curating content is so helpful for your audience. There’s a lot of information online, but not everyone knows what’s quality information from what is not. You can use your expertise to gather the best, most credible sources and share them with your audience. Curating content also gives you a break from creating content yourself.

Plan for holidays. A great way to generate content to post of LinkedIn is to plan holiday postings. I’m not suggesting posting on holidays that you would not be working, but maybe there are holidays or special days you celebrate or that are related to your career. For example, since I’m a writer, I like to do posts for World Book Day or National Poetry Day. You can also choose holidays that represent your values such as World Water Day or Disability Awareness Month. If you want some fun content, you can also look up some wacky holidays and plan to post for National Cheesecake Day or Talk Like a Pirate Day. Pexel’s content calendar has really helped me to identify some of these holidays.
